20 Pleasures in Life

2.  Prepare a food item the way your mother used to do it.

3.  Hug your dog.

4.  I remember riding my bike to the post office to pick up the mail.

5.  I remember coming home to my computer eager to see what emails I had.

6.  Attend a symphony concert or visit the art museum.

7.  Be active in a sport you enjoy.  I love to ice skate.

8.  There is joy in driving through town without being stopped by one traffic light.

9.  Sing a favorite song loudly when home alone or driving alone.

10.  Help someone in need.

11.  I admire the cleanliness after house cleaning.

12.  Relish a spontaneous and unexpected compliment.

13.  Wear clothes that make you feel good.

14.   Birdwatch.  Learn their songs and habits.

15.  Relish time spent with family and friends.

16.  Work on a jigsaw puzzle.

17.  Watch the sunrise and the sunset.

18.  Take care of yourself.

19.  Work hard.

20.  Be loving and generous.
